NV Access
When not-for-profit NV Access and flagship product, NVDA, an open-source and free screen reader were looking to raise their profile, they turned to KDPR.
After operating since 2007, NV Access needed an updated cohesive narrative reflecting their commitment and belief that every blind and vision impaired person deserves the right to freely and easily access a computer.

KDPR Solution
KDPR developed an overarching narrative and key messages for NV Access and NVDA, which was then utilised in media pitching, award submissions, and corporate outreach.
Throughout the campaign, many valuable media runs have been achieved including a 7 News story, 5x ABC Radio interviews, and an article in Queensland’s most circulated magazine, RACQ’S Road Ahead.
A highlight of the campaign was an Australian Story episode featuring founders Mick Curran and Jamie Teh. The episode was incredibly effective in raising awareness of NV Access and NVDA and increasing donations.
Throughout engagement, NV Access were also the recipients of multiple awards including QCF’s 2023 Philanthropic Innovation Award, Helen Keller Services AccessAbility Award, and the Blindness Society’s Inclusivity Award.
KDPR also developed a strategy to raise vital corporate donations and utilised our extensive network to facilitate introductions.
