We are thrilled to announce the recent signing of a new corporate partnership between Lexus of Brisbane and Cherish Women’s Cancer Foundation, which will see the local dealership donate a brand new CT 200h Prestige to an Art Union Raffle.
Proceeds from the Art Union Raffle will be committed to funding world-leading gynaecological cancer research being conducted in Brisbane.
Cherish Founding Director Professor Andreas Obermair said the signing of the exciting new partnership was a milestone for the young foundation, which was first established in November 2012.
“We’re overjoyed to have the support of Lexus of Brisbane in helping to battle the sheer scale of funding issues we’re currently facing in the women’s health space,” Professor Obermair said.
4,400 Art Union Raffle tickets will go on sale on October 1, 2013 at a cost of $50.00 each.
People are also encouraged to join in Cherish’s annual Battle Against Ovarian Cancer taking place on 23 February 2014, by entering a team of five colleagues, peers, family or friends and pledging a donation of $550 to secure a spot on court as part of Ovarian Cancer Awareness month (February 2014).
