Growing old is an experience filled with new challenges, surprises and countless adjustments. These experiences also affect families and friends who support loved ones, enabling them to live comfortably in the environment they choose.

Five Good Friends is revolutionising what it means to ‘grow old’ by offering a service that provides assistance at home so elders can stay close to their family, friends and in the communities they love.

KDPR, with the help of few good friends, The Right Honourable Lord Mayor of Brisbane, Graham Quirk,   Five Good Friends’ Ambassador, Ita Buttrose AO OBE and esteemed Australian journalist Kay McGrath, managed the official launch of Five Good Friends, held at the St Lucia Bowls Club on 2 November 2016.

With great organisation and dedication from the team at KDPR, the Five Good Friends launch was a successful event that drew on the energy of the compassionate, generous and positive people who attended. The launch was the perfect way to celebrate the commencement of an era in which Five Good Friends will help resolve an escalating social issue: How to provide help and care for Australia’s ageing population.
